Three key factors that affect efficiency increases across the entire product life-cycle: standardization, integration and parallelization. We’ve laid the foundations for a general standardization of our processes, with our newly defined business processes for technology development (TED) and mass production order development (MOD), TEDMOD for short.
The standardization of our project management has the same affect. On this basis, we can now parallelize and control part-processes. By introducing electronic project files and the Groupware system, we have significantly improved the integration of the organizational units and relevant project data involved in all our processes.
We have also achieved additional improvements by introducing a project controlling instance, to establish component costs across the entire product life-cycle, and standardized change management.

The TEDMOD pillar "IT support" aims to depict the entire product life-cycle, from the idea to the launch of mass production and subsequent provision of replacement parts, on a standardized technology platform.
This uses standardized, both product-oriented and project-oriented software, whereby the product always remains the focal point.
